iPod Repair FAQ

On this page we have posted some of our most frequently asked questions with regards to the full range of models and generations of the world famous iPod - if you have a question you would like to ask, please contact us today, and we may add it to this page.

1) What if you cannot fix my iPod?
We operate a fair no fix / no fee policy. If we cannot fix your iPod we will simply return it back to you in exactly the same condition that we receive it in. Rest assured, we don't do this often and fix 99% of all iPods received.

2) How long is the repair guaranteed for?
All of our repair work is guaranteed for a total of 3 months. If the same part fails again on your iPod within 3 months we will gladly repair it for you again free of charge.

3) What iPod types can you fix?
We can fix all types of Ipods including all Nanos, Video, Touch and also Iphones.

4) How should I send my iPod to you?
We recommend you send your iPod to us using either Royal Mail Recorded (£2.00) or Special Delivery (£4.25). These services offer different amounts of insurance - please make sure you check this when sending your iPod. Remember to wrap it in bubblewrap inside a jiffy bag.

5) How long does it take to repair my iPod?
We aim to repair all Ipods within 48 hours of them arriving. We realise how important your Ipod is and aim to get it back to you asap. The majority of the time the repairs are done the same day. However, we can only guarantee a 48 hour turnaround given that the selected parts are in stock, it is only applicable on business days, there are no delays in postage providers and funds are received quickly.

6) How can I pay for repairs?
You can pay for your repairs using PayPal, Credit Card via PayPal, or alternatively using a cheque. Once we knoe what is wrong with your Ipod we will email you the cost along with a request to pay via Paypal.

7) Will I lose my songs?
If you are sending your iPod for a hard drive repair then you will certainly lose any data on your hard drive. However, it is very uncommon to lose data when commencing another repair such as an LCD screen repair. Saying that, we cannot be held responsible for lost data so please back your iPod data up.

8) Do you use genuine Apple parts?
Yes all replacement parts used are 100% genuine Apple parts.

9) If after testing and a quote what happens if I decide not to go ahead?
No problem - we only charge for return postage - ?5.99
